Why do I see a mismatch in the ALM utilization figures reported in the Resource Usage Summary and Fitter Resource Utilization by Entity sections of the fitter report?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software versions 11.0 SP1 and earlier, the Adaptive Logic Module (ALM) utilization reported in the Fitter Resource Utilization by Entity section of the fitter report may be incorrect for Stratix® V and Arria® V designs.

Resolution

The number of ALMs reported in the Resource Usage Summary section of the fitter report is correct.
