Why do I see a junk packet on TX MAC in the F-Tile Ethernet Hard IP in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2, it is found that, when flow control in the F-Tile Ethernet Hard IP is changed from YES to NO (or) from NO to YES, while packet transmission is in progress, the resulting packet is seen corrupted.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 24.3.
