Why do I get a pop-up window entitled "Parport 2000 Driver Load Failed" when I try to use the GDB/Insight debugger in the Nios embedded processor development kit?

Description

The driver must be reinstalled. Go to the following directory and run psetup.exe to uninstall the driver.

<Nios installation>\bin\fs2\bin (default is C:\altera\kits\nios\bin\fs2\Bin\)

Run psetup.exe again to reinstall the driver. You must have full permissions on your machine to uninstall and reinstall the driver.
