Why do I get a fatal error when running the quartus_drc executable?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 20.1 and later, you may see a fatal error when running the quartus_drc executable with the --rtl=on switch.

Resolution

To work around this problem, do not use the --rtl=on switch.
