Why can't I enable the rx_patterndetect signal on the Custom PHY when in bit slip mode for Arria V GX and Stratix V GX devices?

Description

You cannot enable the rx_patterndetect signal on the Custom PHY when in bit slip mode for Arria® V GX and Stratix® V GX devices because bit slip mode does not search for a specific pattern. You should slip the data manually until you achieve word alignment.
