Why can I not create a synchronizer chain with asynchronous reset?

Description

In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Software, you will see that synchronizer chains with an asynchronous reset will trigger a DRC CDC-50001 violation and will not be implemented correctly. 

Resolution

Ensure that synchronizer chains are reset synchronously or use an asynchronous reset registered in the same clock domain as the synchronizer chain.
