Why aren't msb_aOctetsTransmittedOK or msb_aOctetsReceivedOK statistics registers of Triple-Speed Ethernet IP Core incremented?

Description
Due to a bug with the Triple-Speed Ethernet IP Core, msb_aOctetsTransmittedOK or msb_aOctetsReceivedOK statistics registers are not incremented.
Resolution

This bug is fixed in Quartus® Prime software version 16.0.
