Why are the symbol port names displayed incorrectly in the Quartus Prime Block Editor?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software version 16.0 and earlier, you may see the symbol port names displayed incorrectly in the Quartus Prime Block Editor, the symbol block will be affected with:

- Port name display overlapping

- Port name display out of alignment

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus Prime software version 16.1.

The impacted symbol/BDF has to be regenerated in order to see the fix.
