Why are the Recommended Operating Conditions of VCCBAT sometimes shown as a nominal value?

Description

In the following documents, the Minimum and Maximum values for VCCBAT shown in the Recommended Operating Conditions table is the nominal value of an existing power supply, as opposed to the actual minimum and maximum values.
