Why are the Intel Agilex® 7 devices not supported by the Ethernet Link Inspector in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.4?

Description

When using the Ethernet Link Inspector in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.4, clicking the List JTAG Masters button will not list Intel Agilex® 7 devices in the JTAG Master Selection text box.

Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software 19.4. toolkits fail to support the Intel Agilex 7 devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem, use the Ethernet Link Inspector in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.3. 

This problem is fixed starting in version 20.1 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
