Why am I unable to detect the EPCQ-L device connected to my Arria 10 device, after instantiating the Serial Flash Loader (SFL) IP in my user design in Quartus Prime Pro?

Description

Due to a known issue in the Quartus® Prime Pro software version 15.1.2 or earlier, you may not be able to detect the EPCQ-L configuration even after you have instantiated the SFL IP core in your Arria® 10 design.

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime Pro software. Use the factory default enhanced SFL image instead of instantiating the IP core in your design as a temporary workaround.
