Why am I seeing Xcelium* simulation failures for F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) and Dynamic Reconfiguration enabled VHDL designs?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1, you may see Xcelium* simulation failures for F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) and Dynamic reconfiguration enabled VHDL designs.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this problem for VHDL Xcelium* simulations in the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1 and earlier, you may need to use Verilog or other simualtors.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1.1.
