What should I enter into the Power Delivery Network (PDN) tool for the number of BGA Power/GND via pairs?

Description

In most Altera® devices, the number of GND pins will out number the VCC power pins.  When entering data into the number of  BGA Power/GND via pairs, use the number of VCC power pins for the device you are targeting.

Not all GND pins are associated with VCC pins, so the additional GND pins can be ignored for entering data into the PDN tool.
