The mapping between the signal detect threshold voltage (Vth) and the setting in the Stratix® IV GX ALTGX MegaWizard™ is detailed in the table below.

8	50mV
7	45mV
6	40mV
5	35mV
4	30mV
3	25mV
2	20mV
1	15mV

The rx_signaldetect status signal will assert when the receiver peak-to-peak differential input voltage VID(p-p) is higher than Vth multiplied by 4.
