What is the assignment for the PCI I/O clamp diode in the Quartus II software?

Description

The assignment for the PCI I/O clamp diode is called PCI I/O in the Quartus® II software.

Resolution

You can enable or disable internal PCI clamp diode using either of methods:

1. In .qsf file: Add the command: set_instance_assignment –name PCI_IO ON –to input_pin_name
2. In Assignment editor: Assignment Name – select PCI I/O;  Value – Select On

The internal PCI clamp diode will be enabled and it will be showed in compilation report.
