What does syn_e output port from ALTECC IP mean?

Description

The ALTECC IP has an optional sync_e output port, but there is no description in the Integer Arithmetic IP Cores User Guide.

err_detected is a output signal that will be asserted when single-bit error is detected on data bits.

sync_e is a output signal which will go high whenever a single-bit error is detected on the parity bits.
