What bit width are the Ethernet Media Access Controller Transmit Descriptor 2 (TDES2) and Transmit Descriptor 7 (TDES7) registers in Cyclone® V/Arria® V SoC?

Description

The Transmit Descriptor 2 (TDES2)”  and Transmit Descriptor 7 (TDES7) registers are 32bit in the Cyclone® V/Arria® V SoC Ethernet Media Access Controller are 32bit.

The Cyclone® V/Arria® V Hard Processor System Technical Reference Manual version 15.1 and earlier incorrectly state the bit widths are 22bit.

Resolution

This problem will be fixed in future release of the Cyclone® V/Arria® V Hard Processor System Technical Reference Manual.
