Warning: <clk>/asmi_parallel2.clk: asmi_parallel2.clk requires 50000000Hz, but source has frequency of 100000000Hz

Description

This warning message will appear when the input clock for the ASMI Parallel II IP is not set to 'exactly' 50MHz. The maximum input clock frequency for the ASMI Parallel II IP is 50MHz.

Thus, the warning message will be cleared when the input clock is set to 50MHz. If you set the input clock below 50MHz, you can ignore the warning message.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Intel® Quartus® Prime Software version 17.1.
