Warning (16295): Ignoring virtual IO assignment for "<signal name>"

Description

The Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro edition software generates this warning during compilation when a virtual pin assigment is made to a module output that is also defined as open drain with the OPNDRN primitive. This cause the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro edition software to ignore the virtual pin assignment.

Resolution

To avoid this warning, do not use virtual pin assignments on open drain outputs that uses the OPNDRN primitive.
