Unable to Connect JESD204B IP Core Interrupt Signals and Transceiver Related Signals to Other Components in Qsys

Description

In the Quartus II software Qsys tool, you are unable to connect these signals to and from other Qsys components:

JESD204B IP core interrupt signals (jesd204_rx_int, jesd204_tx_int)

Transceiver related signals (pll_locked, tx_cal_busy, rx_cal_busy, and rx_is_lockedtodata)

These signals are not compatible to other Qsys component in term of interface & signal type. Thus, Qsys displays an error when you try to connect them to other Qsys component.

This issue affects the JESD204B IP core in Quartus II software versions 14.0 and 14.0 Arria 10.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this issue.

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
