SoC EDS Installation Error with Previous Version of DS-5

Description

Before you install the SoC Embedded Design Suite (EDS), you must uninstall all previous versions of DS-5.

If you do not uninstall a previous DS-5 version, the SoC EDS installation procedure will ask if you wish to change, repair, or remove DS-5. If you choose to uninstall at this time, the installation procedure will remove DS-5 version without reinstalling the new version.

Resolution

Manually uninstall your previous DS-5 installation and then start the SoC EDS installation.
