Run-time error '53': File not found

Description

You may see this runtime error when opening the Early Power Estimator (EPE) tool.

This is because EPE extracts its DLLs and data to the system %TEMP% folder when it's opened. Sometimes, one of these files may become corrupt and cause an error in the title.

Resolution

To fix this error, follow the instructions below:

1. Close all Excel processes (including EPE).
2. Go into Windows Explorer (File explorer)
3. Type %TEMP%\EPE_Tool into the address bar
4. Remove everything in this directory.
5. Try opening EPE again.
