RapidIO II MegaCore Function User Guide Incorrectly Indicates User Can Turn Off Remote Transmit Emphasis Control

Description

The RapidIO II MegaCore Function User Guide indicates that software can reset the REMOTE_TX_EMPH_ENABLE bit in the Port 0 Control 2 CSR (offset 0x154).

However, this indication is incorrect. The access mode for this register bit should be read only (RO). The IP core always has remote transmit emphasis control turned on.

Resolution

This issue has no workaround.

This issue is fixed in version 14.0 of the RapidIO II MegaCore Function User Guide.
