RapidIO II IP Core I/O Slave Waits for Transaction Timeout After Receiving Illegal or Error Response

Description

When the RapidIO II IP core I/O slave module receives an illegal response or an error response, it could immediately mark the transaction as completed. Instead, it waits for the transaction to time out before marking the transaction as completed. It does not wait before flagging errors.

The IP core frees the transaction ID after timeout. A transaction ID cannot be reused until it is freed. Therefore, this delay might result in bandwidth loss.

Resolution

This issue has no workaround.
