RapidIO II IP Core Demonstration Testbench Does Not Support Cadence NCSIM Simulator

Description

The RapidIO II IP core demonstration testbench cannot simulate successfully with the Cadence NCSIM simulator versions that are Altera-approved for use with the Quartus II v14.0 and v14.0 Arria 10 Edition software.

Resolution

To work around this issue, you can simulate the RapidIO II demonstration testbench with the Mentor Graphics ModelSim simulator or the Synopsys VCS or VCS MX simulator, or you can simulate in version 13.10.s23 of the Cadence NCSIM simulator.

This issue is fixed in version 13.10.s23 of the Cadence NCSIM simulator.
