Project archive restoration failed.

Description

In the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software, you might see various error messages when opening a QAR (Quartus® Prime Archive File) or a QPF (Quartus® Project File). These errors occur when the project is restored or opened on a network location on a CIFS (Common Internet File System) mount in Linux.

The Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software does not support CIFS mounts.

Resolution

To avoid these errors, restore and open your project to a location that is not a CIFS mount.
