nios2-console Does Not Work in the GCC 4 Command Shell

Description

If you try to run the nios2-console command in the GCC 4 Command Shell, you see the following error message:

Can't locate strict.pm in @INC ...

Resolution

Use the GCC 3 Command Shell.
