Missing Configuration in SDI Multi Rate (up to 12G) TX Preset

Description

When you select the SDI Multi rate (up to 12G) Tx preset in the SDI II parameter editor, the tx_pma_div_clkout port is not enabled.

This port is supposed to be enabled.

If this signal is not enabled, you will not get the 148.5-MHz recovered clock to clock the SDI II IP protocol.

Resolution

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

1. In the SDI II parameter editor, click Tx PMA tab.
2. Under TX PMA Optional Ports, check Enable tx_pma_div_clkout port.
3. For tx_pma_div_clkout division factor, select 2.

This issue is fixed in version 15.1 Update 1 of the Arria 10 Transceiver Native PHY IP core.
