Lock Receiver Signals Not Asserted When Receiving HD-SDI Video

Description

The lock signals (rx_trs and rx_frame_locked) from the SDI II IP core will not be asserted when receiving HD-SDI video. The rx_std signal in the Reconfiguration Management block will still show '11' (3G-SDI Level A) even though the receiving video is HD-SDI standard.Your design will fail to compile because the SDI II IP core is not locked. This problem affects SDI II IP core versions 14.0 and earlier.

Resolution

Compile your design using a different seed number.

This issue is fixed in version 14.0 Update 2 of the SDI II IP core.
