On Linux operating systems, in DSP Builder v13.1 and later, you might see this error.

Resolution

To work around this problem, on Linux, before you launch DSP Builder, set the QUARTUS_ROOTDIR environment variable to the /quartus directory in their installation. This problem is fixed in DSP Builder v15.1.
