Is there a known issue with performing a write_param instruction in the ALTREMOTE_UPDATE megafunction, if an EPCQ256 configuration device is selected?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 13.1, the ALTREMOTE_UPDATE megafunction will not latch user data correctly when executing a write_param instruction for all parameters except for Page Select. This may result in settings such as the AnF bit, watchdog timer value and watchdog enable not being set correctly. This issue only occurs if the selected configuration device is an EPCQ256.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 14.0.
