IP appears unavailable in the 14.0 Quartus II software release when installed on Linux

Description

If you install the Quartus® II software release version 14.0 on the Linux platform without any devices, some of the available IP might appear to be unavailable. When you install a new device, the available IP still might appear as unavailable.

Resolution

To access the available IP, you must restart the Quartus II software after installing your device.
