Description

Due to a problem in Quartus® Prime Software version 17.0.2 or earlier, you may see this internal error when generating the IBIS model enabled with an extended model selector. 

Resolution

To work around the issue, you must disable or uncheck the extended model selector in Settings > EDA tool settings.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 18.0.
