Description

Due to the limitation of memory resource availablility for 32-bit operating systems, you may see this internal error during compilation when using the 32-bit version of the Quartus® II software.

Resolution

To avoid this error, use the 64-bit version of the Quartus II software on a computer with sufficient memory. Refer to Documentation: Release Notes for links to the Quartus II Software and Device Support Release Notes (PDF) for the memory requirements of Altera devices.
