Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and earlier, you might see the following internal error when the signal name or instance name exceeds 30,000 characters in the synthesized netlist:

Internal Error: Sub-system: STA, File: /quartus/tsm/sta/sta_wyslander.cpp, Line: 124

Resolution

To work around this problem, check that the signal names or instance names do not exceed 30,000 characters.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3.
