Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 and earlier, you may see this internal error when generating an IBIS model for your design.

Resolution

To work around this problem, go to Assignments > Settings > EDA Tool Setting > Board-level Signal Integrity Analysis and turn off Enable Model Selector.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
