Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software, you may see this internal error.

no_dirty_hdb_option_pointer

This error occurs when logic lock regions are defined in the design and the nodes assigned to the logic lock region are specified with a wildcard (e.g. -to a|b|*, or a|b|*xyz).

Resolution

To work around this problem, do not use wildcards to specify your logic lock regions. Instead explicitly specify all of the nodes.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software.
