Internal Error: Sub-system: PTI, File: /quartus/tsm/pti/pti_delay_annotator.cpp, Line: 2146

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4 and earlier, you may get this error when using the Hard Processor System in Agilex™ 5 FPGA IP.

Resolution

Follow these steps to remove the error:

 

1. Upgrade to Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4.1
2. Remove the pin assigmnent for the i_gbe_refclk_n and comment out the ports: rx_cdr_refclk_n and tx_pll_refclk_n
3. Regenerate your Hard Processor System in Agilex™ 5 FPGA IP.
