Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software, you may see this internal error in the assembler stage of compilation. This error may occur when you have five or more advanced SEU detection (ASD) regions in your design when using Stratix® V E9, EB, A9, or AB devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem, ensure there are 4 or fewer ASD regions in your design.
