Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software versions 11.0 SP1 and earlier, you may see this error when compiling your design if the Timing-Driven Synthesis option is turned on.

Resolution

To work around this problem, turn off the Timing-Driven Synthesis option on the Analysis & Synthesis Settings page of the Settings dialog box.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 12.0.
