Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.1 and later, you may see this internal error when compiling designs targeting Intel Stratix® 10 devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem, add the following assignments to your .QSF (Quartus Settings File)

• set_global_assignment -name PHYSICAL_SYNTHESIS OFF
• set_global_assignment -name ADVANCED_PHYSICAL_RETIMING PRE_PCA

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
