Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 and earlier, you might see this internal error during the fitter stage of compilation. The internal error only occurs in designs with one or more non-rectangular Logic Lock regions. This internal error only occurs on some seeds.

Resolution

To work around this problem, either rerun the fitter with a new seed number or remove the non-rectangular Logic Lock region.

This problem has been fixed starting with Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4.
