Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 17.1 Update 2 and earlier, you may see this error when compiling an Intel Stratix® 10 design that uses design partitions. The error occurs when you have unconnected partition ports.

Resolution

To work around this problem, ensure that all the partition ports are connected to logic.

This problem has been fixed beginning with version 18.0 of the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software.
