Description

You might encounter the following internal error when running only the "I/O Assignment Analysis" on an Arria® V GX FPGA Custom or Native PHY xN bonded design in the Quartus II software version 13.0.

Internal Error: Sub-system: HSSI, File: /quartus/periph/hssi/hssi_error_message.cpp, Line: 1559 PLL not found for channel implied by HSSI_TX_CHANNEL_CLUSTER0 

Resolution

To determine if your I/O assignment is correct, run a full Quartus II software compilation.

This problem has been fixed in the Quartus II software version 13.0.1 and onwards.
