Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 17.0 and earlier, you may see this internal error when using the SignalTap Logic Analyzer. This error occurs when an instance name contains a space and the trigger in/out functionality is used.

Resolution

To work around this problem, do not use a space in the instance name.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime Standard Edition software.
