Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Software version 17.1 and earlier, you might encounter this error when compiling designs targeting the Intel® Cyclone® 10 GX device family.

The error occurs when the Intel Cyclone 10 GX device family is installed without installing the Intel® Arria® 10 device family.

Resolution

To work around this problem, install the Intel Arria 10 device family.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software.
