Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software versions 11.0 SP1 and earlier, this error may be generated when you turn on the Perform register retiming option.

Resolution

To avoid the error, turn off the Perform register retiming option on the Physical Synthesis Optimizations page of the Setting dialog box.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
