Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 and earlier, you might see this internal error at the fitter stage when redundant pin settings exist for the transceivers in the design.

Resolution

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0.
