Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, you might get this error when compiling your project during the synthesis stage.

Resolution

To work around this problem, perform either of these two options:

• Add the following assignment to your .qsf file

set_global_assignment -name AUTO_PARALLEL_SYNTHESIS OFF

• Download and install patch 0.08 for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4  from the appropriate link below:
  • Download patch Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software 22.4 Patch 0.08 for Windows (.exe).
  • Download patch Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software 22.4 Patch 0.08 for Linux (.run).
  • Download the Readme for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software 22.4 Patch 0.08  (.txt).

This problem is fixed beginning in version 23.1 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
