Description

Due to a problem in Quartus® II software version 11.1 SP2 or earlier, this error may occur when running the Assembler if you compile a design targeting a Stratix® V GX device. This error may occur if the project has Reserved Pin assignments with any of the following values:

• As SignalProbe output
• As output driving VCC
• As output driving an unspecified signal
• As output driving ground

Resolution

To work around this problem, disable Reserved Pin assignments with any of the above values.

This issue is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 12.0.
